當我們想起自己的過去, 當然集中在令人難忘的事件, 我的故事, 總括起來都是有關那些重大決定; 什麼時候來加拿大, 在學校讀什麼, 與誰做朋友, 搬去那裡住… 然而我忘記大部分生活的其他事。
When we think about who we are, of course we focus on the memorable. When I tell my story, I sum it up by recounting those major decisions; when I came to Canada, what I studied at school, who I friended with, where I moved... I omit the forgotten majority of my life.
